How CrushCamp is committed to keeping you safe
As you return to fitness studios, social gatherings, or busier areas, you may feel a little nervous. And that is perfectly okay and understandable! But there are a few things you should know:
We are in the business of health, and keeping you healthy is our #1 priority!
We have never had a single known case of COVID-19 transmission at CrushCamp
Exercising at a moderate to high intensity a minimum of 3 times per week is statistically proven to boost immune system function, reduce effects of anxiety and stress, and decrease risk of hospitalization due to illness.
We are in 100% compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal health guidelines, including masking, vaccine checks, and cleaning standards - so you can feel safe and comfortable working out at CrushCamp.
Here is an overview of what you can expect when you come to CrushCamp:
VACCINE CHECKS
In accordance with the Alberta Restrictions Exemption Program, upon attending your first CrushCamp class we will ask for one of the following:
Proof of full vaccination (along with photo ID)
Proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of service, or
Documentation of a medical exemption
Please note if you were vaccinated in Alberta, as of November 15th you will need to provide the QR code available at https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/. We will only have to ask for your proof of vaccination once, and then we will set a flag in our system. No personal health data will be stored.
MASKING
Per Calgary bylaw, masking is required in common areas including the lobby and change rooms unless you are able to supply a medical certificate indicating you qualify for an exemption. Once you have selected your weights and have reached your lane or pod, you may remove your mask. You do not have to wear your mask while exercising (although you are welcome to do so if this makes you more comfortable).
ENHANCED CLEANING STANDARDS
Upon completion of your workout, you will be given a disinfecting wipe to wipe down all your equipment. Between classes, all surfaces are throughly disinfected with a Health Canada-approved electrostatic fogging technology, proven to kill the COVID-19 virus.
All high touch surfaces including door handles, locker rooms, and desks are systematically disinfected every hour. Additionally, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes are widely available throughout the studio for your use and convenience.
Low-capacity LIFT Classes - our LIFT strength training classes are always capped at 12 people, with no sharing of equipment and additional space between participants
