Cleanse your nervous system for the fall with Cyndi with 60 minutes of sound healing and restoration on Sunday October 6th at 12:30 pm.

During the workshop, you will be guided through gentle restorative postures while experiencing the frequencies of the seven chakras throughout your entire body. Sound bowls help to elevate your body's frequency, move stagnate energies, and reset your parasympathetic nervous system.

  • We recommend participants bring a yoga mat and some cozy layers or a blanket.

  • Yoga mats are available if you don’t already have one.

ABOUT THE CLASS:

We’re pulling out every tool in the studio to bring you the biggest, strongest LIFT Circuit yet! Expect a full-body, low-impact, strength-based workout that incorporates an ever-changing mix of battle ropes, landmine, squat racks, barbells, Ski-Ergs, TRX, dumbbells, kettlebells, and bands to keep your body guessing and your head in the game!

Since this class uses more specialized equipment and the opportunity to increase the load, we recommend participants are familiar with foundational strength training movements (Ex: squat, hinge, and chest press mechanics) and/or have taken a minimum of 5 CRUSH or LIFT classes (not circuit) to ensure familiarity with common exercises.

POSTNATAL FITNESS AT CRUSHCAMP

Our mom + baby fitness are specifically designed for new moms to help you rebuild strength, community, and a sense of self in the year following the arrival of your child. You can expect to sweat, laugh, and meet new friends who are going through the same experiences you are, all with your baby safely by your side. Babies from age 6 weeks (or upon medical clearance) to 12 months are welcome in all Mom + Baby classes.

STRONG AS A MOTHA’

This baby-friendly, postnatal strength + cardio interval class is specifically designed for new moms to help you rebuild strength, community, and a sense of self in the year following the arrival of your child. Your certified post-natal Coach will guide you through a custom-designed workout using the SKILLMILL, bands, weights, fit decks, with your baby comfortably and safely by your side.

Join Cyndi for 60 minutes of empowered somatic yoga on Saturday May 11th at 11:15 am. Expect repetitive movement, and yoga flow to help you feel empowered and move through any stuck emotions that are lingering in your body.

You will be supported with a trauma informed approach to have a safe space to let go and unwind. Be ready to sweat, move, and reconnect to the vital life force inside of you!

  • We recommend participants bring a yoga mat and clothing you can move freely in.

Join us for a very special edition of our Sunday Low Impact Class with Coach Kelsey followed by Brunch and connection with your fellow campers at Home & Away.

Event Programme:
9:00 am - Low Impact Full Body Crush with Coach Kelsey at CrushCamp.

9:45 am - Class ends - Time to shower, change, and get to Home & Away.
10:30 am - Brunch service begins at Home & Away.
1:00 pm - Wrap up 

Each Brunch Ticket Includes:

  • A welcome mimosa - (Must be 18+)

  • Your choice of breakfast (from the options listed below)

  • 20% Gratuity for the included items:

Choice of One of the following per person:

  • Heritage Classic Breakfast: two eggs, smoked bacon, tater tots, sourdough toast

  • Avocado Toast: smashed avocado, cucumber pico de gallo, sunflower seeds, queso, poached eggs, on sourdough with greens or tots

  • Huevos Hitter Bowl: roasted corn, black beans, chipotle aioli, queso, 2 eggs any style on top of tater tots

  • Eggs Benny: Choice of roasted mushroom or capicola ham, poached eggs, hollandaise, side of tots

  • Waffles with Cinnamon Toast Chantilly: two Belgian waffles, cinnamon Chantilly cream, maple syrup, mixed berries

If you'd like to purchase additional menu items, drinks, etc... you will be billed directly by Home & Away.


Note: To make this class as accessible as possible, you have a couple of options for registration

  • Hold your spot in class with your regular membership or class package and purchase a $25 Brunch Only ticket to cover your Brunch + Mimosa :)

  • Purchase a $45 Crush + Brunch Pass which will cover the cost of your class and brunch all in one.

  • Option to take the class only with your regular pricing options (We'll miss you at brunch!)

Please note, if you are joining us for our community Brunch and Social at Home & Away starting at 10:30 am, you will need to have pre-paid for your Brunch with one of the options listed above (either a combined ticket or with your existing pricing option and Brunch Ticket) before 12pm on Friday March 8th for numbers)

Please advise the manager of Home & Away about any dietary restrictions upon arrival at the restaurant. 

About The Class:
This 45-minute Low Impact Interval Training (LIIT) class is designed to get you strong while minimizing stress on the joints and cardiovascular system. It’s perfect for those coming back from an injury or hiatus, lower-energy days, or for anyone who simply wants to focus on strength over cardio.
Expect intervals of low and high pushes, hill jogs, and resisted walks on the SKILLMILL, plus focused work with dumbbells, kettlebells and bands on the floor. Suitable for all fitness levels.

FIRST TIMERS: Please make sure you arrive 20 minutes early for your first class to complete your mandatory safety orientation. FIRST TIMERS who are not checked in a minimum of 10 minutes in advance will be rescheduled for a future class for your safety.

Location:

  • CrushCamp is located at: 530 6th Ave SE in East Village Calgary

  • Home & Away is located at: 1207 1st Street SW in Downtown Calgary

Attendees will be responsible for arranging their own transport from CrushCamp to Home & Away. There is a 45 minute gap between class and the start of brunch to accommodate multiple forms of transport and time to freshen up :) Home & Away is a 5 minute drive or 23 minute walk away from the studio.
